PONS METHOD LEVEL 2 — TECHNICAL STAFF EXCELLENCE — ADVANCED

The Advanced level is designed for technical staff professionals who want to move beyond coordination and become capable of designing and governing an integrated staff operating system. Its purpose is to connect technical, tactical, physical, medical, analytical and performance areas through a common decision architecture. The objective is not simply to improve communication between departments, but to create a staff structure in which information, responsibilities, priorities and decisions are aligned around the same football and performance objectives.Throughout the programme, participants learn how to design staff roles, define responsibilities, establish communication protocols and create clear decision pathways. This includes determining who contributes information, who evaluates it, who makes the final decision and how that decision is transferred into training and competition. The Advanced level places particular emphasis on interdisciplinary integration. Analysis, coaching, physical performance, medical information and player development must not function as isolated departments. They must interact through shared criteria and coordinated processes that improve the quality and speed of decision-making.Participants also learn how to build cross-department decision matrices, escalation procedures and quality-control routines. These structures help reduce duplication, conflicting information and unnecessary complexity while improving accountability across the staff.Another important area is staff performance itself. The programme develops methods for evaluating how effectively the staff is operating, identifying communication gaps, detecting structural weaknesses and improving collaboration over time. The Advanced level also prepares professionals to manage complex environments. Different specialists may have different priorities, languages and perspectives. The challenge is to preserve the depth of each discipline while creating enough integration for the entire staff to operate as one performance system. The final objective is to develop professionals capable of designing, implementing and maintaining a high-performance technical staff architecture in which departments work with autonomy, but never in isolation.Level 2 Advanced therefore moves from staff coordination to staff architecture: from working together effectively to building a professional system that makes collaboration, information flow and collective decision-making sustainable over time.
